Arashi is in tropical paradise in 'In the Summer' music video

By Marah Ruiz

Top Japanese idol Arashi has released their new song just in time for the summer in Japan.

Aptly called "In the Summer," the refreshing song is an upbeat track infused with EDM sounds.

The lyrics talk about one's feelings remaining steadfast and the same even as seasons change.

The track was produced by Rami Yacoub who has previously worked with international stars like Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, Selena Gomez, and many others.

The music video for the song shows all five members of Arashi having fun in a tropical paradise.

Arashi is also set to release a newly single called "Kite" on July 29.

The song was written by Kenshi Yonezu and was meant to cheer on the young generation ahead of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and Paralympics.

It was first performed by the group at the 70th NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen at the Japan National Stadium.

Tokyo Hive reports that the physical copies of the single will feature album jackets illustrated by member Satoshi Ohno.

Arashi recently wrapped up their Picturebook Storytime series where they read aloud stories for children and parents stuck at home due to COVID-19.

They have also made a few of their past concerts, which are notoriously difficult to get tickets to, available for streaming full and free for a limited time.
